👥 The church is not the building, it is the believers in Jesus who form a "spiritual house": 1 Peter 2:4-10 .

​​👥 The church is like a body, in that each person contributes to it with their spiritual gifts, and each person's function is critical whether it seems "important" or not: 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Romans 12:3-8 .​

• The result is that each person is cared for, we all grow to be more like Jesus (Romans 8:28-29), and we fulfill the mission of Jesus (see above).

👥 The church is not only the worship service on Sunday, it is also:

• Community groups in homes during the week, because smaller groups enable us to develop deeper relationships and more accountability with each other.

• Service and outreach ministries we do in the community.

• Brothers and sisters in Christ caring for each other 1 on 1:  Galatians 3:26-28 .​​
