Are you a friendly person? Has God given you the gift of connecting with people and making them feel comfortable? Greeting people at the beginning of the Sunday service would be a great way to use that gift.

 

Coming to church when you don't know anyone can be difficult and anxiety-producing. Having someone welcome them at the front door, introduce themselves, and spend a minute getting to know them can make all the difference.

Who knows, maybe you will get to greet an angel 😃

Specifics:

• We try to have 2 greeters each week

• Greet at the front door from 4:45 - 5:15 pm

• Try to learn people's names (and write them down, if necessary) so you can use them later on

• Bonus: After the service, introduce the new people to some people you already know.
