• Jesus commanded that we baptize believers (Matthew 28:18-20), but it is not a requirement for salvation: John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9 .

• Likewise, there are several examples in the Bible of people being baptized immediately after they believed (Acts 8:34-39, Acts 10:44-48), but also an example of someone being saved without baptism when it wasn't practical to do so: Luke 23:39-43 .
